The Barge under the Water
The 105 year old Tollesbury Barge sank overnight, on the evening of September 18th and or the morning on the 19th.
There was no known loss of life. Police are still not sure what caused the boat to sink and the boat will be move for examination elsewhere.
It was moored in Millwall Dock, at Marsh Wall near South Quay DLR station, and was a licenced premises. It had been used in the Second World War to evacuate Dunkirk.
